This laptop is built ‘Dell tuff’. Like a tank. No plastic. It is a little larger and heavier than the more modern notebooks, but as a ‘laptop’, it is top of the line. Mine is basically “brand new’, and it is FAST. The SSD and 32 gigs of RAM maxed-out the potential of this machine. I use a USB 1TB external drive for all my data files (videos, music etc.) and only plug it in when I need it. Even with it plugged in, the transfer rate is almost like a SSD. I would highly recommend this laptop over one of the newer notebooks. It’s simply a well built ‘work horse’ that has all sorts of features and will surely last me for quite a few years to come.

The Dell I received appeared brand new. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the hefty, well built laptop. Unfortunately, the computer box was mislabeled so I got the wrong amount of memory and a hard drive instead of the SSD. I was ticked off….less than 3 days later I have everything I wanted. The customer service was spectacular! When the time comes I’ll be buying from them again, maybe sooner than my wife wants me to.I dug into the guts a bit (had to to replace the HDD for the SDD, and upgraded the memory that they sent to me). There were some slight signs to indicate this was a used computer (dust, for example), but not much at all. If it was used much they did a great job of cleaning it up. I ran a full diagnostic on the computer on boot up after replacing the SDD and RAM, and everything passed just fine. No issues at all.As for the computer’s performance, this is an Intel i7 quad core. 32GB of RAM (which is the max for this i7 chip), so really pretty sweet. This appears to be very fast and from what I see of my 10 year old, will run any of the Roblox and Steam games. Some of the Steam programs need a fast computer and this handles it no problem. Haven’t loaded more graphics-intensive yet and will update when I do.The graphics is the standard intel unless you hook it up to a separate monitor, in which case you can use the nVidia. I haven’t done that yet so no comment on it, but diagnostics show it is loaded and functional.I’ll buy from this shop again before I ever go buy a new computer again. Those days are over; wish I had found them sooner.
